Stephanie Larkins

Stephanie Larkins is the founder of Everyday Accounting, LLC (previously Larkins Consulting), a firm she established in 2012 with a mission to make accounting slightly less painful and significantly more accurate. With a specialized background in construction accounting, Stephanie knows that building a solid financial foundation is just as important as the literal ones—though she prefers balancing books to hauling bricks.

Stephanie, a California native and Sonoma State University graduate, has since traded the coastline for the desert heat of Arizona, She brings a "west coast cool" approach to the high-stakes world of tax and compliance. While she calls the Grand Canyon State home, her expertise knows no borders; she has extensive experience navigating the unique tax landscapes of all 50 states. Whether you are dealing with nexus issues in New York or payroll in Portland, she has likely seen it, solved it, and filed the paperwork for it.

When she isn't busy hunting down missing receipts or explaining why "miscellaneous" isn't a valid tax category, Stephanie enjoys life in the desert and traveling the world as much as her responsibilities allow. She believes that while your bottom line is serious business, life is something to be grateful for and enjoy as often as possible.

Kaiulani Kanemura

Meet Kaiulani Kanemura, our Operations guru and Account Lead who brings a touch of “Aloha” to every balance sheet. As a Hawaiian native, Kai knows that while the waves may be unpredictable, your finances shouldn’t be.

With a sharp eye for detail and a knack for keeping operations running smoother than a calm day at Hanalei Bay, she manages the complex intersection of numbers and strategy with ease. Kai specializes in making sure every penny is accounted for and every process is optimized, all while maintaining the kind of zen usually reserved for a sunset hike.

When she isn’t busy reconciling accounts or streamlining our workflows, you can find her reminding the team that “spreadsheet” is not a four-letter work. She is here to ensure your business stays organized, compliant and - most importantly - in the black.

Erin & Nora

As the daughters of the owner, Erin and Nora bring a wealth of experience to the team, specifically in the fields of professional snack-tasting and advanced emoji communication.

At just 12 and 8 years old, they have already mastered the art of looking busy whenever a chore is mentioned and currently hold the company record for the longest "technical difficulty" excuse used to extend a lunch break.

When they aren’t "interning" (which mostly involves testing the office chairs for maximum spin velocity), they can be found negotiating for a higher allowance or providing unsolicited Gen Z fashion advice to the management. Erin’s long-term career goals include becoming and Interior Designer, while Nora’s goals are a bit more short-term and include becoming the boss as soon as possible and later a Teacher and Mom.

Butter

At the heart of our business is a true professional - an expert in the fine art of doing absolutely nothing. Our beloved pup, Butter, has mastered the delicate balance between napping, lounging, and occasionally supervising from the comfort of a sunbeam.

With years of experience in sleeping through meetings, ignoring emails, and providing emotional support simply by existing, Butter sets the tone for our company culture; calm, cozy, and just a little bit silly. Whether it’s a quick power nap (3-5 hours) or a full deep-sleep strategy session, Butter is always committed to excellence.

When not hard at work resting, Butter enjoys snacks, short walks to the food bowl, and judging everyone silently.

We believe great ideas come when you are relaxed - and nobody proves that better than our resident nap specialist.
